The fact Theresa May has apparently ‘warned that Brexit could be cancelled if she’s toppled as Prime Minister’ is literally like saying to your kids ‘If you don’t clean your room we’ll have icecream for dinner AND I’ll take you to Disneyland!’

I hate to be that person (no I don’t) but BBC Les Mis has become something I actively hate- I hate how they’re romanticizing everything, I hate that it’s being sexualized, and I hate Enjolras’ mustache! There’s so much more to it but that’s the gist
Can't you agree that the BBC Les Mis adaptation is actually doing some good by incorporating a lot more diversity and including a canonical gay love plotline (even though it's unrequited)? I know not everything is great, but I feel like that deserves some respect instead of complete dismissal.
It’s not canonical gay love. He has described it as a ‘twisted type of love’; that’s not any sort of thing to be happy about.
And y’all, the web series has actual healthy queer relationships so. Hmm.
You do realize that the Les Mis BBC adaptation is way closer to canon than your web series, right?
The web series is a modern adaptation……..we’ve never said it wasn’t………but we’ve also never said it’s better than the book, nor completely dismissed the musical as abysmal…..like y’all, obviously it’s closer to canon. It’s in 19th century France (even if the costumes don’t look like it….).
